- Pietro d'Abano (c. 1257 – c. 1316[1][2]). Italian philosopher, astrologer, physician and professor of medicine in Padua.
- Abner of Burgos (c.1270 – c.1347).[3] Jewish philosopher that converted to Christianity, and polemical writer.
