Al Wusta Governorate (Arabic: مُحَافَظَة ٱلْوُسْطَى, romanized: Muḥāfaẓat Al-Wusṭā, lit.'The Central Governorate') is one of the governorates of Oman. Its capital city is Haima. It was previously a region ('mintaqah'), before becoming a governorate on 28 October 2011; 12 years ago (2011-10-28).[2][3]
