Russian imperial statesman and general (1796–1891)


Alexander Grigoryevich Stroganov (Russian: Александр Григорьевич Строганов;[lower-alpha 1] 11 January 1796 [O.S. 31 December 1795]14 August [O.S. 2] 1891) was Imperial Russia's minister of the interior from 1839 to 1841 and then a member of the State Council from 1849.
