Bondage suit

Garment associated with BDSM activities

A bondage suit, also commonly called a gimp suit, is a form-fitting garment designed to cover the body completely (usually including the hands and feet). It often has an attached hood; if it does not, it often is worn with a bondage hood or "gimp mask". The suit may be made from any materialleather, PVC, rubber, spandex, and darlexx are the most usual.

Catsuits may be worn in conjunction with corsets, bondage harnesses or other restraints as part of a bondage suit.

Use

A bondage suit is sometimes used in BDSM to objectify the wearer, or gimp, and reduce them to the status of a sexual toy, rather than a sexual partner. But sometimes it is simply for aesthetic or tactile reasons. In some cases there are suitably placed openings to allow the breasts, genitals, and mouth to be directly accessible while the suit is worn.

Such suits are sometimes called a gimp suit,[1] a term popularized by its use in Quentin Tarantino's movie Pulp Fiction.[2]
