Regional educational units are a level of public education offices in some states of the United States. They cover an area of multiple school districts or counties. Other names for this concept are educational service agency, educational service center, educational service district, intermediate school district (as in Michigan but not as in Minnesota), or intermediate unit, or regional service center.
