This category lists Wikipedians who are academic psychologists. This category is designed to list only those Wikipedians who have, or who are currently pursuing, a "doctoral degree in psychology from an organized, sequential program in a regionally accredited university or professional school". Members of the list should be committed to psychology as a scholarly and scientific enterprise, not as an informal and intuitive practice. Wikipedians with non-academic qualifications, for example in counselling or psychotherapy, should instead list themselves under Category:Wikipedian_psychologists or under Category:Wikipedians interested in psychology, or should generate a new subcategory.
