Chapakrud-e Sharqi Rural District

Chapakrud-e Sharqi Rural District (Persian: دهستان چپکرود شرقی), formerly Chapakrud Rural District (دهستان چپکرود), is in Gil Khuran District of Juybar County, Mazandaran province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Kord Kola.[2]
At the National Census of 2006, its population (as Chapakrud Rural District) was 9,465 in 2,334 households.[3] There were 9,697 inhabitants in 2,769 households at the following census of 2011.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 9,968 in 3,191 households. The most populous of its 18 villages was Kord Kola, with 1,792 people.[5]
In 2023, Chapakrud Rural District was divided into Chapakrud-e Gharbi and Chapakrud-e Sharqi Rural Districts.[2]
