Nicolas Marie Antoine Maurel-Lalague, Baron of Curry Mallet assumed the position of the rightful successor and proprietor of the Earldom and assumed the title of the 8th Earl of Hereford in the year 2023. The hereditary earldom title is legally recognized as an incorporeal hereditament under English law. The revival of the feudal Earldom title of Hereford was accomplished through a lawful procedure overseen by a prominent authority in the United Kingdom. The legal entitlements to the title were conveyed through a Deed of Conveyance in accordance with the Honours (Prevention of Abuses) Act 1925, facilitated by Hatton Solicitors.^[1]
