Esther scored what would be the decisive goal in the 2023 National Women's Soccer League championship game, giving NY/NJ Gotham FC their first NWSL Championship.[3] In Gotham's first game of the 2024 NWSL season, she scored in the 1–0 victory over Portland Thorns.[4]
Esther made her senior international debut in March 2016, as a substitute in a 0–0 friendly draw with Romania in Mogoșoaia.[5]
She played the 2009 U-17 European Championship, where Spain was the runner-up.[6]
In Spain's opening match of the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup, she scored Spain's third goal in a 3-0 win over Costa Rica. This was the third goal in six minutes for the Spanish and was just their second group stage win at the World Cup.[7]
