Apparently, K Battery of the 2nd Troop, Bengal Horse Artillery, 1860. It was all mounted to ensure greater maneuverability which was unusual during that period. On 19 February 1862, the Bengal Horse Artillery transferred to the Royal Artillery as its 2nd and 5th Horse Brigades;
