Summary

Description
English: Original caption: "At the conclusion of their regular schedule last season, the mighty Harlem Globetrotters embarked on one of the most pretentious undertakings ever presented in basketball—an 18-game transcontinental series played in 17 cities against a highly-formidable array of College All-Americans. The Globetrotters came through with colors flying, winning 11 games to 7, and entertaining fans from coast to coast with their dazzling ball-handling, passing and showmanship. Here are the World Series Globetrotters with Owner-Coach Abe Saperstein (right) and Team Secretary W. S. Welch (left)."
