The image represents some algebraic numbers in the complex plane.
The unit circle can be seen as black dots. The colors of the other dots represents the degree of the algebraic number (green = 1st, red = 2nd, cyan = 3rd, blue = 4th). All the polynomials used have integer coefficients between -5 and 5. The roots were approximated with 100 iterations of the Durand–Kerner method . |
