Description
English: Trade card showing the canned food factory of the brothers Weiss, the first in Hungary. It was founded around 1880 in Csepel, now part of Budapest. The reverse of the card mentions various meat products in cans and their prices ('0,5 Kg Goose Liver naturel 1 Fl 30 Kr', that was 70 dollarcents in 1885). The original measures 10 x 14 cm.
Français : Carte commerciale figurant la fabrique de conserves des frères Weiss, la première de Hongrie. Elle fut fondée aux alentours de 1880 à Csepel, aujourd'hui dans l'agglomération de Budapest. Le verso de la carte mentionne divers types de viande en conserve avec leurs prix. L'original, qui mesure 10 x 14 cm, date de 1885 environ.
