Description Spirit of Haida Gwaii , the Black Canoe , sculpture by Bill Reid in bronze, outside the Canadian Embassy in Washington. A second casting, Spirit of Haida Gwaii , the Jade Canoe is at dispay at the Vancouver International Airport , and the plaster cast is at the Canadian Museum of Civilizations in Ottawa.
