Aufstand im Sowjet-Sektor von Berlin
Nach dem Tode Stalins griff der Wille zur Selbstbestimmung über das staatliche und persönliche Leben und über die Freiheit der Persönlichkeit auf die Menschen des gesamten sowjetzonalen Sektors Deutschlands über. Die Bevölkerung im Sowjetsektor Berlins glaubte die Stunde der Freiheit sei für sie gekommen. Man ging auf die Straßen und proklamierte das Recht auf Freiheit und Selbstbestimmung. Der Aufstand wurde durch sowjetische Truppen zusammengeschlagen

Von der sowjetischen Besatzungsmacht eingesetzte Panzer zur Niederschlagung der Unruhen in der Schützenstrasse.
