Charles Darwin Bicentenary Statue The bronze statue depicts a 22 year old Darwin (May 1831) during his final year at Christ's. The plants in the garden around the statue reflect the specimens that he collected on his travels.
First shown in the Fellow's Garden the statue now sits in front of New Court within the grounds of Christ's College, Cambridge. Anthony Smith is the sculptor. |
