Summary

Coat of Arms of the Democratic Republic of Armenia. Based on black and white image seen in Historical Atlas of Armenia by Garbis Armen ( ISBN 0961793309 ). Coloured by en:User:Aivazovsky . The current coat of arms as shown in the official Armenian page http://www.president.am/en/state-symbols/ differs: the eagle is golden, the sword is upright and holds the chain up, the animals do not have tongues, Mount Ararat has Noah's Arch on top and it is predominantly in the third Armenian colour - orange. The symbols of the four royal dynasties are differently presented and blue and red backgrounds are reversed. There are no flowers on the top corners of the shield.
