English: Niue, Coral Chasm. Before reaching the chasm, one must follow a path through a field (strip) of needle rocks of coral limestone. The Niue Island is surrounded by steep limestone cliffs about 25 meters high, and a coastal strip of average 500 meters wide formed from coral origin limestone.
Français : Gouffre corallien de Niue. Pour accéder au gouffre, on doit suivre un sentier traversant la bande littorale, véritable champ d'aiguilles rocheuses coralliennes. L'île de Niue est ceinturée de falaises calcaires atteignant en moyenne 25 mètres de hauteur, et d'une bande côtière large en moyenne de 500 mètres, constituée de calcaire d'origine corallienne.
