English: The Turkish crocus or cloth of gold ( Crocus graveolens ) at the Çukurova University campus in Adana , Turkey. The plant likes slopes of hills in stream valleys. It prefers well-drained red and rocky soils, and requires full sun or partial shade. It blooms from the first week of January to mid of January depending on climatic conditions.
