Debussy's_house,_Sq._de_l'av._Foch.jpg

Summary

Description
English: Photo taken October 2012 of Debussy's last home, where he died 1918. A plaque commemorating his residency adorns the main doorway (obscured by the tree on right of photo). The Square is now a gated property, accommodating several African embassies, and entry requires a degree of subterfuge.
Buildings date from c. 1850-60 as part of Napoleon III 's reconstruction of Paris.
