Summary
Description Doncaster station geograph-3849456-by-Ben-Brooksbank.jpg |
English:
Southward approach to Doncaster station, ECML 1992.
View from the footbridge, towards everywhere southward on the ex-GNR East Coast Main Line, also westward on the ex-GCR (South Yorkshire section) towards Sheffield etc. All is greatly altered since electrification in 1987. Off to the right is the ex-GNR Locomotive & Carriage Works. 'Deadly dull' DMUs dominate. |
