Description
English: A flag of the Greek People's Liberation Army , the largest resistance movement in occupied Greece during World War II. This example, consisting of the initials ELAS embroidered on a plain Greek national flag, was raised on 25 September 1944 at Therisso, Crete, by the 5th ELAS Division.
