The image depicts magnetic field around Jovian moon
Europa
. The field consists of the Jovian stationary field, Jovian varying field and Europa induced field. The bending of the field lines around Europa is evident, indicating an existence of an electrically conducting layer in the interior of the moon. The field lines shown in the image were calculated based on the magnetic field data available from the scientific literature.
