Description
English: Steamer EXCELSIOR leaving San Francisco for the Klondike, July 28, 1897. Excelsior was the first steamer to carry pasengers to the Klondike after news of the discovery of gold in the Klondike was received. She was laden with 350 passengers and 800 tons of supplies.
