Territory of Fuyu in the mid-3rd century (a hypothesis).

The identification of the territory is mainly based on a brief description of the Sanguo Zhi (三國志 魏書 東夷列傳 夫餘) (and the nearly identical sentence from the Houhanshu (後漢書 東夷列傳 夫餘)):

夫餘在長城之北,去玄菟千里,南與高句麗,東與挹婁,西與鮮卑接,北有弱水,方可二千里.

Maybe the most controversial point on this map is the identification of Ruo Shui (弱水). Some think Ruo Shui referred to the Songhua River and others think it was the Amur River . This map follows the former but Zhongguo lishi ditu (中国历史地图集) edited by Tan Qixiang adopts the latter.
