Description Gafilo 2004-03-06 0655Z.jpg	English: On March 6, 2004, Very Intense Tropical Cyclone Gafilo approached Madagascar. The system soon became the most intense tropical cyclone in the South-West Indian Ocean on record, before making landfall over Madagascar early on March 7. This image was taken by the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on NASA’s Terra satellite at 06:55 UTC on March 6, 2004.
