English: Portrait of Gertrude Falkenstein (1803-1882), morganatic wife of Frederick William I, Elector of Hesse (1802-1875)
Deutsch: Halbfigur nahezu en face mit gemustertem, dekolletiertem Seidenkleid und einem Umhang mit Hermelinbesatz. Sie trägt in ihrem hochgesteckten, seitlich gelockten Haar ein schmales Diadem, dazu passenden Ohrschmuck und eine Brosche am Ausschnitt. Ihren Hals schmückt eine doppelreihige Perlenkette. Gertrude Falkenstein (1803-1882) war die Gemahlin Kurfürst Friedrich Wilhelms I.
