Notes The identification of a sitter as Constance of Austria, future Queen of Poland should be rejected as not resembling her effigies. The present image is a pendant to a portrait of Maria of Austria's younger sister, future Empress, Archduchess Anna of Tyrol (1585-1618) by the same artist and similar dimensions (58 × 48 cm), today in the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna (inv. no. GG 4410). Identification of the sitter by Marcin Latka (Artinpl), 19.11.2017.
