The room has been restored to appear as it did during the 1700's. The only piece of original furniture is the Rising Sun Chair. All of the other furnishings are period antiques. The only part of the walls that are original is the panel behind the dais with the carved shell. The rest of the walls along with the ceiling, floor, chandelier, and railing are all reproductions from the 1960's.
