Note: The Iranian Babr -class gunboat Palang was built at Cantiere navale di Palermo, Italy, in 1931. It is not to be confused with the former U.S. Navy Allen M. Sumner -class destroyer USS Stormes (DD-780) that was sold to Iran in 1972 and also named Palang .
