Founder and coach of the Edmonton Commercial Grad's women's basketball team, world senior women's basketball champions for 17 consecutive years. Independent member of the Alberta Legislature from 1940-1948, and a Progressive Conservative member 1955-1959. Lieutenant-Governor of Alberta, 1959-1965.
