Summary

Description
English: Looking south at the reconstruction of the Joseph Austin Playground baseball and soccer field from the Grand Central Parkway in Jamaica, Queens. Here you can see that the underside of the turf is just a thin layer of rubber, which while safer than AstroTurf is still dangerous for impacts and injuries. Below that is an unusual layer of white puzzle pieces. Finally, below that is gravel, which helps drainage.
