Sitä on joissain yhteyksissä nimitetty ulkonäkönsä perusteella myös moskeijaksi, vaikkei rakennuksen tornia ole vihitty minareetiksi eikä sieltä ole rukouskutsuja kuulutettu. Suomen islamilaisen seurakunnan rukoushuone sijaitsee Järvenpään Kinnarin kaupunginosassa, katuosoitteessa Keskitalontie 3, Järvenpää.
