Summary

Description
English: Speed freaks tear up the tar at Cape Town’s Killarney Race Track.

The Killarney Race Track is in Tableview, about 30km (18 mi) from the Cape Town city centre. It was first used for racing in 1947 and the track was rebuilt in 1959-1960 to conform to the standard required for the 1500cc Formula One cars of the time.

The track is the home of Fantastic Racing, a company which offers the opportunity to learn how to handle a super-charged Reynard single-seater race car around the circuit.
