The Inscription of Comentiolus (
Lápida de Comenciolo
), the principal historical artifact testifying to the presence of the Byzantines in Spain. 6th century. Municipal Archaeological Museum of Cartagena (

). It reads:
Whoever you may be, you will admire the high sections of the tower and the vestibule of the city, constructed over a double entrance.
