. After a major renovation, the house is home to a museum devoted to Handel's life and work. 1968 to 1969,
Jimi Hendrix
lived in the neighbouring house at 23 Brook Street. When learning about Handel having lived next door, Hendrix allegedly bought some Handel records, including
Messiah
and
Water Music
.
