Description
English: Man and woman, Old-Babylonian period, 2003-1595 BCE, fired clay plaque from Ur, Southern Mesopotamia, Iraq. The plaque was probably used for domestic purposes. Very similar, and almost identical, plaques are in the British Museum and the Oriental Institute (Chicago). The Sulaymaniyah Museum, Iraqi Kurdistan.
