日本語: 芳年筆「芳年武者无類」より『八幡太郎義家』、木版画。『古今著聞集』9巻の「源義家或法師の妻と密会のこと」の一場面を描いたもの。人妻のもとへ足しげく通う義家。その家は堀と茨をめぐらせてあったが、義家は道からそれを軽々と飛び越えて桟敷から家の中に入っていた。これに気づいた夫は桟敷に碁盤を置き、義家がそれにけつまづいたときに斬りつけようと待ち伏せしたが、義家は飛び込みざまに気づくやいなや碁盤の角を斬り捨ててこともなげに着地し、家の中に入っていった。夫は怖気づいて逃げ出した
