Description NEC-TurboGrafx-16-CD-Add-on-FL.jpg | The CD-ROM drive for the TurboGrafx-16 video game console. Released by NEC in 1989, it is the first CD-ROM drive for a video game console released in North America. This drive is also a unit that can be used independently to play audio CDs as well. It attached to the console via a large dock that was included with the drive, which sold altogether for $399 at launch. | |||
