Description
English: Parade Ground , Fort George The sheer scale of the Fort may be appreciated by this diagonal view across the parade ground.There is a further grassed area within the fort of similar size used on more ceremonial occasions. Designed to accommodate 2 battalions, some 1,800 men, currently there is still a detachment from the Black Watch in residence.
