Description
English: A postcard with Vytis ( Waykimas ) and Lithuanian flag by Jonas Vanagaitis, published in the late 1910s in Tilsit. A Lithuanian musical instrument kanklės is depicted in between the flags. At the bottom of the postcard are the patriotic lines of Jonas Vanagaitis which translates from the Lithuanian language as: "Climb from the grave, Lithuania, where you laid for centuries. The day has dawned, end of the suffering! Be healthy, be free, Lithuania!"
Lietuvių: Atvirukas „Tegyvuoja nepriklausoma Lietuva“, kurį XX a. II deš. pab. Tilžėje išleido Jonas Vanagaitis. Tarp dviejų vėliavų yra vaizduojamas lietuviškas muzikos instrumentas kanklės .
