Summary

Description
English: Princes Risborough: ercol workshop and showroom Lucian Ercolani (1888-1976), son of an Italian pictureframe maker, started his furniture design business in High Wycombe in 1920, perfecting his technique of steam-bending wood, and later using elm, a wood other furniture makers considered impossible to work with. In the late 1940s he created his nationally famous ercol range of furniture. In 2002 ercol moved to this brand new 160,000 square foot workshop and showroom on the Princes Estate off the B4444 Summerleys Road in Princes Risborough. The building is also the company's factory outlet where ex-display items, returns and seconds can be bought by the general public. The ercol website is here http://www.ercol.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=SFNT&Store_Code=EOS
