Deutsch: Eigenes Foto der Porta Maggiore in Rom aus dem Jahr 2004. Gut erkennbar sind die Wasserleitungen der beiden Aquädukte , die hier gemeinsam in einer Baukonstruktion geleitet wurden. Die obere Röhre leitete das Wasser der Aqua Anio Novus, die untere Röhre das Wasser der Aqua Claudia. Die Porta Maggiore wurde ab 271 n. Chr. in die Aurelianische Mauer integriert, deren Reste ebenfalls noch gut erkennbar sind.
