Summary

Description
English: A Royal Navy (right) and British Army (left) Church Parade in front of the incomplete chapel-of-ease on Church Street in the City of Hamilton , in Pembroke Parish , in the British colony of Bermuda . The church was erected between 1886 and 1905 on the site of the previous chapel-of-ease, Trinity Church (which had been destroyed by arson in 1884). The chapel-of-ease, with its neighbouring Bishop's Lodge, was built for the use of the Bishop of Newfoundland and Bermuda , whose usual seat was the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist ) at St. John's , Newfoundland ). In Bermuda, another St. John's Church is the parish church for Pembroke Parish. Completed in 1905, the new chapel-of-ease became the Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity when the Bishop of Bermuda was established as separate office from the Bishop of Newfoundland in 1919.
