SIMPSON AND HIS DONKEY FROM GALLIPOLI CAMPAIGN; FAMED FOR HIS BRAVERY AND COMPASSION WHILE USING HIS DONKEY TO CARRY WATER UP SHRAPNEL GULLY. HE WAS FINALLY FATALLY WOUNDED IN MAY 19TH, 1915. THIS IS THE MOST FAMOUS AND REVERED MONUMENT IN THE SkuLPTURE GARDEN OF THE AUSTRALIA WAR MEMORIAL IN CANBERRA.
