Nathan Schrimsher of the U.S. Army World Class Athlete Program reacts to his victory over Ismael Marcelo Hernandez Uscanga of Mexico during the men's Modern Pentathlon fencing competition Aug. 18 at the Rio Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Schrimsher posted 20 victories and 15 defeats to earn 220 Modern Pentathlon points in the first of four events. Alexander Lesun of Russia leads the 36-competitor field with an Olympic record 268 points in fencing (28 victories, 7 defeats). Competition resumes Saturday in swimming, equestrian show jumping, and the combined event of cross country running and pistol shooting.
