Thanks. SummaryStatue to Sir John Gray on Dublin 's O'Connell Street . Designed by Thomas Farrell, the statue is sited close to the Abbey Street offices of the Freeman's Journal - of which Gray had been proprietor. It was unveiled on June 24 1879, with the inscription:
