English:
Sitniki ornithological reserve near Sitniki, Nizhegorodsky region, Russia. Formerly a peat bog. Since 1930s, the peat has been harvested to be used as fuel and soil amendment. In 1980s the area was recultivated as a wetland and inhabited by various breeds of waterfowl. It is also known for good pike fishing.
