Inscription on the piedestal:

1 deyadharmoyam Śākyabhikṣo Yaśadinnasya yadatra punyam tadbhavatu ma-
2 tapittro acaryopaddhyayanam ca sarvvasatvanuttarajnanavaptaye

"This is the religious gift of the Sakya monk Yaśadinna (Yasodatta).
Whatever religious merit there is in the (gift), let it be for the attain-
ment of supreme knowledge by (his) parents and (his) teachers and
preceptors (and) all sentient beings." p.103

"This is the pious gift of the Buddhist monk Yasdinna. Whatsoever merit (there is) in this (Gift), let it be for the attainment of the supreme knowledge of (his) parents, teachers and preceptors and of all sentient beings ." Reference
