A lithographic print depicting the Rathmore-Gortroe massacre, which occurred near Rathcormac, County Cork on 18 December 1834. Soldiers of the 29th Regiment of Foot are depicted firing on a group of tenant farmers who attempt to escape and hide behind haystacks near a farmhouse. The print is attributed to The Reverend Matthew Morgan and dated to August 1848 (fourteen years after the event occurred).
